2023 Parish Council Meeting Dates

Bradfield Parish Council will be meeting on the following dates in 2023: >Tuesday 10th January >Tuesday 7th February >Tuesday 7th March (including Annual Parish Assembly starting at 7 p.m.) >Tuesday 4th April >Tuesday 16th May - Annual Parish Council Meeting >Tuesday 6th June >Tuesday 4th July >August – No Parish Council Meeting unless required >Tuesday 5th September >Tuesday 3rd October >Tuesday 7th November >Tuesday 5th December All meetings take place in St Lawrence Church Hall and commence at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise stated. The Finance Committee meets three times per year in April, November and January respectively. Extraordinary meetings are also arranged following Operational or Annual Playground inspections to discuss and consider any findings.

Severe Weather Warning for SNOW, valid from 0900 Sunday through to 0900 Monday

Issued by the Met Office: Today and much of the weekend be mainly fine if cold across our region. Despite any brighter skies, daytime highs will struggle to make 3 or 4 Celsius at very best. Indeed, where any overnight freezing fog lingers, this most likely Sunday, temperatures may struggle to get much above freezing. Overnight lows will dip to minus 2 to minus 6 Celsius. Winds mainly light throughout. Later Sunday and into Monday, sleet and snow showers may develop towards some coastal areas and move inland at times. St Helena Hospice at home with you in Tendring

More than 90% of the care and support St Helena Hospice provides is to people in their homes across the whole of north east Essex. From April 2021 to March 2022, the charity supported 1,951 patients and families facing incurable illness and bereavement living in towns and villages across the Tendring district. When people think of St Helena Hospice, they often think of the building in Colchester where people are admitted for care, when in fact the majority of patients are supported and cared for in their place of residence such as their own home or a care home. Essex Police Dog Theft Leaflet

The Rural Engagement Team at Essex Police Headquarters deal with wildlife crime across the county. One area they are focusing on is the theft of dogs. Fortunately, dog theft is very low in Essex, but the fear of losing a beloved pet can cause owner's concern. Anti Social Behaviour - Reporting System

Tendring District Council's Community Safety team has been working alongside their IT department to create a new system for the recording of their antisocial behaviour cases / enforcement cases. This system is now fully operational. The new system allows members of the public to complete an online reporting form which will automatically generate a case on their system. This will enable their ASB officers to carry out their risk assessment and respond accordingly, this will help them confirm as a Council that they are also prioritising cases as they are reported to the Council.
