Notice of Election – Bradfield Parish Council

Residents are advised that a Notice of Election has been published in relation to a vacancy on Bradfield Parish Council. The election process is administered by Tendring District Council’s Returning Officer. The Notice of Election provides the formal information for anyone wishing to stand as a candidate, including the nomination process, relevant deadlines and where nomination papers must be submitted. Where an election is contested, residents registered to vote in the parish will have the opportunity to vote for their preferred candidate. If the number of valid nominations received is equal to, or fewer than, the number of vacancies, the election may be uncontested and the candidates will be declared elected in accordance with the relevant electoral rules.

Standing for election

Candidates are responsible for ensuring that their nomination papers are completed correctly and submitted by the required deadline, please note, this must be actioned in person and cannot be sent digitally or by post.
