Margaret Townsend
Margaret worked as PA for some years, to the Managing Director of a furniture company. After moving to the Clacton area in the mid seventies, Margaret and her husband eventually bought a small holding and tried the good life! It was hard work but very enjoyable and the whole family worked well together.
After 7 years their 3 sons wished to pursue their own careers, so they sold their smallholding and moved to Bradfield 22 years ago, She would not like to live anywhere else.
Her pastimes include visits from the families and gardening, also her allotment. She has spent over 6 years as a councillor, 5 of which have been as Chairman, and on the whole really enjoys working for Bradfield.
